SH Park site of fireworks show
A fireworks show is planned for 10 p.m. Saturday at South Harrison Park near Elizabeth.
Admission to the park at the toll house will require a Super Pass or $5 per car load for in-county vehicles or $7 for out-of-county vehicles.
Harrison County residents can still claim their 2021 Super Pass at no cost (one per family) from their township trustee as follows: Blue River Township, Trustee Michael Beyerly; Boone Township, Laconia General Store; Jackson Township, First Harrison Bank New Salisbury branch; Morgan Township, First Harrison Bank Palmyra branch; Posey Township, Trustee Teresa Sutton; Spencer Township, Trustee Aaron Scott; Taylor Township, Trustee Tana Miller; and Franklin, Harrison, Heth, Washington and Webster townships, Harrison County Discovery Center in downtown Corydon.
Also on Saturday, the Helen Cunningham Pool will be open its regular hours from noon until 6 p.m. Then, the pool will re-open at 7:30 p.m. for a Twilight Swim Party until 10:30 with the new colored underwater lights. Swimmers will be able to watch the fireworks from the deck of the pool.
The Twilight Swim Party requires a separate ticket which can be bought in advance at the South Harrison Park toll house for $7 per person.
Live music on the stage will feature Kim & Kel from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. followed by The Skinny from 7 until 10.
The fireworks show will be by Casabella’s fireworks.
