Corydon girl state finalist in pageant
Six-year-old Fayetta Mae Crone of Corydon recently qualified as a state finalist in the National American Miss Indiana pageant to take place July 1 to 3 in Indianapolis.
The pageant is for girls ages 4 through 18 in five different age divisions. Contestants will compete in four overall categories: formal wear modeling, personal introductions, interview and community service.
Fayetta is the daughter of Jordan Crone. Her activities include T-ball, mini 4-H, Girl Scouts, camping and swimming. She also enjoys traveling, fishing, painting, singing and farming.
Dedicated to celebrating America’s greatness and encouraging its future leaders, National American Miss places emphasis on the importance of gaining self-confidence and learning new skills, such as good attitudes about competitions, as well as setting and achieving personal goals.
