The North Harrison Community School Corp. Board of Trustees met May 12 to approve numerous personnel appointments for the upcoming summer school and 2021-22 school year.

The board approved the appointments of Tracy Brown, Morgan Elementary School cafeteria staff; Dalton Drexler, North Harrison Middle School special education teacher; Rick Elder, North Harrison High School custodian; Chandler Jenkins, NHMS eighth-grade English and language arts teacher; Charles Adams, North Harrison Elementary School essential skills teacher; Angella Mueller, NHHS head cheer coach and summer mini cheer camp coach; Lena Baumgarten, NHHS assistant cheer coach; Hannah Ingle, NHHS cheer coach; Caitlyn Burson, NHHS summer volleyball coach; Bart Bigham, NHHS summer tennis coach; Jeff Balmer, NHHS summer cross-country coach; Jackie Sauerheber, NHHS summer cross-country coach; Mark Williamson, NHHS summer weights coach and summer football coach; Lou Lefevre, NHHS summer boys’ basketball coach; Jamie Kolkmeier, NHHS summer girls’ basketball coach; Haley Book, NHHS summer softball coach; and Kevin Fessel, NHHS summer baseball coach.

Summer school teachers were appointed as well, with NHES summer school teachers and instructional assistants being Velvet Wolf, Roberta Boman, Lynn Benson, Angela Griffin, Molley Leffler, Shellie Pence, Morgan Hollen and Baylie Sawicki.

Morgan Elementary summer school teachers hired were Cara Walters, Sandi Rudolph and Kailey Adams, Jamie Fried, Nick Cherry, Jeffica Washnook, Stephanie Wenning and Laurie Forrest.

North Harrison Middle School summer hires were Dan Schmidt and Chuck Walker.

Hired as NHHS summer school teachers and assistants were Tony Rowe, Angie Hinton, Ginger Shirley, Mark Williamson, Darcy Kamer, Archie Sauerheber and Starr Stuffle.

The board accepted the resignations of Amy Hill, MES instructional assistant; Cassie Anderson, NHES teacher; Sara Yost, NHES instructional assistant; Melissa Jobe, MES teacher; and Gregg Circle, NHES instructional assistant; and the retirement of Evalina Pinnick as NHES teacher.

The school board’s next regular meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 9, at 7 p.m. in the NHMS cafeteria.
