The Historical Society of Harrison County will continue its series of Piano at the Posey House concerts by Jean Ann Parker on Sunday with special patriotic music in honor of the upcoming Memorial Day

The free concert will be from 2 to 4 p.m. at the historic Posey House, located at 225 N. Oak St. in downtown Corydon.

Although the Posey House will not be open to the public, attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs or sit in their cars to listen to the music, which is broadcast by speakers as well as on the radio.

The concerts, which take place on the second and fourth Sundays through the month of June, are sponsored through a grant from the Indiana Arts Commission and the Harrison County Community Foundation.

“Small Towns, Harrison County” books are also available for a donation to the Historical Society of Harrison County.
