‘Small Towns’ to be featured on YouTube
The Historical Society of Harrison County’s April quarterly event will feature “Small Towns, Harrison County.”
This will be a virtual presentation posted on the historical society’s YouTube channel (search for Historical Society of Harrison County Indiana on YouTube). The presentation will feature excerpts, tours, songs and images from the Historical Society of Harrison County’s recent publication “Small Towns, Harrison County.”
Karen Schwartz, president of the historical society, invites all to participate.
“The good news is this presentation will be available on Tuesday, April 27 (the Society’s regular quarterly event night), and thereafter,” she said. “This eliminates the frazzling scramble to log on at a specific time with a specific password or pass code. Viewers can enjoy the ‘Small Towns, Harrison County’ play list at their leisure.
“I have personally truly enjoyed the ‘Small Towns, Harrison County’ experience and would love to share it with others,” Schwartz said. “We also invite you to subscribe to our YouTube channel. We have loads of other offerings as well and continue to add to our channel frequently.”
For more information or to acquire a copy of “Small Towns, Harrison County,” which is available for a $10 donation to the Historical Society of Harrison County, contact Schwartz at 812-736-2373 or by email at [email protected].
Books are also available at the remaining Piano Performances at the Posey House (concerts by Jean Ann Parker) on the second and fourth Sundays in April, May and June from 2 to 4 p.m. The free concerts are open to the public.
