‘Enthusiastic’ group advocates for local issues

I want to voice a shout out to the Harrison County Democrats. A Zoom meeting last night was well attended by a fresh, enthusiastic group of advocates for some local issues such as broadband, educational support and continued access and accountability from our local elected officials.

The Democrats are attending all county council, commissioner, parks and Corydon town council meetings.

The county council and commissioners are consistent in recording their meetings for all Harrison Countians to watch and keep up on through the local government websites.

The Blue Dot podcast is a bi-weekly update with postings on meetings and on local projects but, of course, leaning blue with Democrat support and invited guests.

We all need to find a source of information that is clear, concise and, hopefully, a little entertaining too. Access, accountability and acceptance will make all of us more informed voters.
