Dorothy L. Kitterman
Dorothy (Dottie) Louise Kitterman, 84, Corydon, Ind., passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021, at Harrison Springs Health Campus in Corydon.
She was born May 15, 1936, in Jeffersonville, Ind., the daughter of Harold Ludlow Wilson and Mary Evelyn Brasher Wilson.
She worked many years for the Navy department as a clerk and was a homemaker after the birth of her children. She was a long-standing member of Perseverance Chapel United Methodist Church and enjoyed volunteering her time with Perseverance Chapel UMW and Harrison County Church Women United.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jackie Lee Kitterman; sister Evelyn Joyce Wilson; and brother, William T. Conrad.
She is survived by her brother, Harold Ray Wilson of New Middletown, Ind.; sister, Carol J. Wilson Holland of Savannah, Ga.; sons, Steven Kitterman and David Kitterman (Barb), both of Corydon; daughter, Patricia Terry (Sam) of Munfordville, Ky.; grandchildren Christopher R. Duley (Tara), Jessica M. Adamson and Zachary A. Kitterman, all of Corydon, and Devin L. Kitterman (Mary) of Carmel, Ind.; and great-grandchildren, Kelsi Adamson, Mayson Duley, Jackie (Sully) Duley and Jacob Kitterman.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2021, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, April 16, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home following the visitation on Friday, April 16, 2021, at 10 a.m. Pastor Stephen McAfee will officiate. Burial will be at Perseverance Chapel.
The family suggests memorial gifts be made to either Perseverance Chapel Cemetery Fund or to the American Cancer Society.
