Rainbow’s End earns Paths to Quality Level 3 rating
Rainbow’s End Child Care Center in Corydon recently qualified again for a level 3 Paths to Quality rating.
Paths to Quality is Indiana’s statewide quality rating and improvement system for early care and education. Providers start at Level 1 and work their way toward national accreditation at Level 4. A Level 3 rating means that Rainbow’s End has demonstrated the knowledge and skill necessary for planning appropriate activities and opportunities that lead children toward school readiness. As a Level 3 program, the center also has made a significant investment in the professional development of staff and incorporates family and staff input into programming.
“Participation in the Paths to Quality rating system is voluntary,” said Julia Baylor, director of children’s services at Blue River Services Inc. “However, this gives families an easy way to recognize the quality of our center when selecting a child care program.
“I am very proud of our manager, Stephanie Martin, and all of our staff for working so hard to continue professional development and put what they have learned into practice,” she said. “Each day at Rainbow’s End brings new opportunities for children to play, investigate and express ideas through a variety of quality learning experiences.”
Rainbow’s End is operated by Blue River Services Inc. and has been in business since 1989. Blue River Services also operates Level 3 preschool programs at Morgan and North Harrison Elementary schools.
Rainbow’s End Child Care Center is a state-licensed child care center located at 310 S. Capitol Ave. in Corydon. All children ages 1 to 12 are welcome to attend Rainbow’s End Child Care Center.
