Charles W. Endris
Charles W. Endris, age 91, Depauw, Ind., passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
Chuck was born Jan. 19, 1930, in New Albany, Ind., to the late Adolph and Wilma Flickner Endris.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, retired from L.T.V. Steel Mill in East Chicago, Ind., was a life member of Del Rio, Texas, Veterans of Foreign War Post and attended Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon, Ind.
Also preceding him in death were daughters Christine Endris and Gale Imboden and a brother, Wesley Endris.
Surviving are his wife, Lois E. Bevins Endris; son, Rodney C. Endris of Louisville, Ky.; daughters, Penny Miller (Marvin) of Sellersburg, Ind., Belinda Smith (Allen) of Depauw and Linda Summers (Lucky) of Corydon; brothers, Everett Endris (Celia) of Cedar Lake, Ind., Larry Endris (Brenda) of English, Ind., Leroy Endris of Kendallville, Ind., and Eugene Endris (Karen) of Kendallville; sisters, Jannet Bliss (Earl) of Demotte, Ind., Patricia Snyder (Tom) of Kendallville and Wanda Stamper (Doug) of Lowell, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2021, at Old Capitol United Methodist Church, 141 S. Heidelberg Road, Corydon, with burial in Woods Chapel Cemetery at Ramsey, Ind.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 Highway 64 NW, Ramsey, and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
