Allen Robert Keller, 75, passed away Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, at Penn Med in Philadelphia. At the time of his death, he was a resident of Somers Point, N.J.

Al was a native of Corydon and was the son of William H. Keller and Joan Auxier Keller. He was born in Louisville on Aug. 10, 1945.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William H. Keller III; a sister, Judith Anderson of Lebanon, Ohio; and his fiancée, Sheryl Collins.

He is survived by a sister, Nancy Keller of Corydon; his stepdaughter, Terri  Schweighardt; and several nieces and nephews and their families.

Al was a graduate of Corydon Central High School in 1963. In 1967, he earned a degree in business administration from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Army in South Korea. When Al returned from the service, he attended Tulane University in New Orleans, where he received a master’s degree in business administration in 1972.

Early in his career, Al worked at the Keller Manufacturing Co. Eventually, he moved to New Jersey, where he worked as an IT tech support contract worker at the Federal Aviation Agency facility in Atlantic City, N.J., for many years.

Al particularly enjoyed living at his bayside home in Somers Point, where he liked entertaining friends and visitors. He thoroughly loved the lifestyle of living close to the New Jersey shore boardwalk areas and especially enjoyed Atlantic City stage shows. Also, Al was an enthusiastic traveler and was pleased he had the opportunity to go to Europe and China in addition to being able to visit many interesting places in the U.S.

No funeral was held, and the body was cremated.
