Roy Lee Fowler, 93, of Corydon, Ind., died Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, at Indian Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.

He was born Oct. 26, 1927, in Harrison County, Ind., to the late Carry and Ruth Bulleit Fowler.

Roy was a graduate of the University of Evansville, was a retired project engineer with Fisher-Klosterman in Louisville, Ky., was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a member of the Corydon Country Club, where he was an outstanding golfer. He also owned a farm near Corydon where he raised Black Angus cows.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Bliss Fowler; his son, Charles Lee Fowler; and his sisters, Rayna Kopp and Jackie Logsdon.

Survivors include his sister, Tammy O’Neal (Ruben), and his nephews and niece, Eric Fowler (Alanna) and Michael Fowler, both of Corydon, Tracey Norton (Jack) of Columbus, Ind., and Kerry Kopp (Lori) of Seymour, Ind.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor Donnie Whitlow will officiate. Burial will be in Jordan Cemetery near Corydon.

Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Michael, Eric and Jalen Fowler and Chris Paulley Sr.
