The Corydon Central Panthers (2-3) got back into the winning column on Monday night with a 67-52 victory at Tell City (2-2) on the opening night of a now abbreviated Perry-Spencer Classic holiday tournament.

Several teams, including Crawford County, withdrew from the PSC over the weekend, forcing tournament organizers to reschedule the remaining teams.

Corydon Central (2-3) was slated to face Perry Central in its second game yesterday (Tuesday), while North Harrison was pitted against South Spencer last night and will face Perry Central tonight at 6 at Tell City.

The Panthers shot 56% from the field against Tell City, making 28 of 50 shots, including 6 of 14 (43%) from three-point range to notch the win.

Anthony Martin made all three of his three-point attempts and led the Panthers in scoring with 15 points. Tyler Fessel was a perfect 6 for 6 inside the arc to score 12 points while grabbing a team-high seven rebounds. Bryce Weber also reached double figures for the Panthers with 12 points.
