Senior guard Grace Erwin knocked down four three-pointers and scored a team-high 16 points to lead the Corydon Central Lady Panthers to a 62-57 Mid-Southern Conference win over visiting Scottsburg on Saturday.

Jessica Fulk and Ava Weber each added 14 points as Corydon Central improved to 6-4 on the season and 3-2 in league play.

“The girls moved the ball extremely well on the offensive end,” said coach Josh Conrad. “We did a good job attacking the basket and getting Scottsburg off balance. It was a good win and hopefully something we can build off of and keep improving.”

The Lady Panthers are set to return to action Saturday, Jan. 2, against visiting Charlestown. The holiday tournament they were originally scheduled to compete in at Vincennes Rivet on Dec. 29 and 30 has been canceled.
