The Lanesville Lady Eagles maintained their No. 1 ranking among Class 1A teams with a pair of wins last week and ran their winning streak to 11.

The Lady Eagles (11-1) were 63-40 winners at Paoli last Tuesday night behind a 22-point performance from Gracie Adams. She also collected six rebounds and made four steals.

The Lady Eagles had a double-digit lead (14-4) by the end of the first quarter and never looked back.

Linzie Wernert added 11 points, and Emma Campbell scored eight.

Lanesville shot 45% (24 of 53) from the field, assisting on 21 of those buckets while making just 11 turnovers.

Two nights later, Adams scored 19 points on 9-of-13 shooting and grabbed six rebounds to pace a 55-19 win over Borden in a Southern Athletic Conference game at home.
