Ronald L. Sieboldt
Ronald L. Sieboldt, 79, of Elizabeth, Ind., died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020, at Baptist Health in Louisville, Ky.
He was born April 15, 1941, in Harrison County, Ind., to John Frederick and Opal Bour Sieboldt.
Ron was a mechanic, employed at the old Dixie Warehouse & Cartage Co. in Louisville, a member of Teamsters Local 89, VFW Main Street Post in New Albany, Ind., and a Methodist.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Langsdon Sieboldt of Elizabeth; a son, Rick Sieboldt (Dolores) of Elizabeth; grandson, John Sieboldt of Elizabeth; and his sister, Carolyn Ballard also of Elizabeth.
Funeral services for Ronald will be at 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home, 318 E. Chestnut St., Corydon, Ind. Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 12, beginning at 5 p.m. through 8 p.m. and Sunday from 9 until 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Bethesda Cemetery at Elizabeth.
Due to COVID-19, we will be adhering to protocols already put in place: Masks are required; no more than 50 people in the building at one time; and we will be social distancing. The family has requested that their guests be mindful of their personal space. Unfortunately, we cannot accept food to share at this time. Thank you for your understanding and your cooperation.
