Bruce A. Zentner, 72, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020, in Louisville, Ky.

He was born in Tomahawk, Wis., on Feb. 9, 1948, the son of Maynard and Marion Carlson Zentner.

Bruce moved to Corydon in 1989 and was instrumental in opening the A.O. Smith plant, later Tower Automotive, that manufactured all the Ford Explorer frames. He retired from the automotive industry after 37 years.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Bye Zentner; two sons, Bruce Zentner Jr. (Michelle) of Grafton, Wis., and Chad Zentner (Lisa) of Cedarburg, Wis.; daughter, Kim De Cristoforo (Tony) of West Bend, Wis.; stepson, Jason Lang (Mary) of Mauckport, Ind.; stepdaughter, Julie Lang of Corydon, Ind.; brother, Robert Zentner (Ina) of Idaho; and six grandchildren, Tanner, Taylor and Hunter Zentner, Jaxon Zentner and Haley and Alex De Cristoforo.

Funeral service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon. Mark Bye will officiate. Burial will follow in Heidelberg Cemetery near Corydon.

Visitation will be Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
