Dining With Diabetes class to return Tuesday
The Purdue Extension – Harrison County will again offer Dining With Diabetes, a weekly-session program, beginning Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Harrison County Extension Office in Corydon. The series of four sessions is open to those with type 2 diabetes (or are at risk), their family members and caretakers/support persons.
Due to social-distancing guidelines, there are only five slots. Paid registration of $35 per person for all four sessions must be received by Friday.
Other class dates will be Dec. 1, 8 and 15. A follow-up session will be at a later date.
Participants will learn to prepare meals that are healthy, easy to prepare and taste great. The program will be taught by Annette Lawler, Harrison County educator, and Gail Pietzmeier, Crawford County educator.
To participate, call the Purdue Extension Office at 812-738-4236 or send an email to [email protected].
