William D. Johns
William David Johns, 87, of Kissimmee, Fla., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020.
He was born in Indianapolis, Ind., and has been a resident of Osceola County since 2001 coming from Upland, Ind.
He was a retired district supervisor for the State of Indiana Examiner’s office, was a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and a retired chief of the Laconia Volunteer Fire Department in Laconia, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Johns, in June 2020.
William is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carol J. Johns of Kissimmee, Fla.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. The Rev. Greg Carter will officiate. Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery near Laconia.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
