Guy L. Watson
Guy L. Watson, 89, Clarksville, died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville.
Born Dec. 4, 1930, near New Amsterdam, he was the son of the late Floyd and Daisy Montgomery Watson.
He graduated from New Amsterdam High School in 1949 and later attended radio and television repair classes. He was retired from South Central Bell (AT&T) in Louisville and was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War era.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Alyce Irene Saulman; a grandson, Kyle Lutes; four brothers, Jess, Frank, Monty and Jerry Watson; and three sisters, Roma Lopp, Corrine Saulman and Micky Wyckman.
Survivors include a son, Guy Michael Watson of Estill Springs, Tenn.; two daughters, Denise K. Hannigan of Charlestown and Shelly J. Lutes of Terre Haute; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery near Corydon.
Officiant: Chaplain Leland Parks.
Pallbearers: Jim Hannigan, Bill Lutes, Jim Hannigan II, James Hannigan III, Cody Lutes and Michael Moore.
