‘Angel Tree’ application dates set
The Salvation Army in Southern Indiana will accept applications for its Angel Tree program for families living in Harrison, Crawford, Floyd, Clark, Scott and Washington counties beginning Monday.
Families in Harrison, Floyd and Clark counties apply can online at www.sanewalbany.org. Families unable to apply online should call The Salvation Army New Albany Center of Hope at 1-812-944-1018.
Registration will take place until Oct. 23.
Families in Crawford County should apply at Marengo United Methodist Church, located at 1449 Hardy Road between 9 a.m. and noon from Oct. 19 to 23. No appointment is necessary. Only one family member is allowed at the appointment. Applicants must wear a mask and have all required documents at the appointment. Documents include ID, proof of residence (utility bill or lease), birth certificate for each child and proof of custody for each child (if you are not the parent on the birth certificate).
