The Rev. Michael Joseph Pryor, 64, Georgetown, Ind., passed away Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020, at his home in Georgetown.

He was born June 26, 1956, in Louisville, Ky., the son of Mack Murray Pryor Sr. and Thelma Delores Parson Pryor.

He was a retired elevator mechanic for NEI, was the pastor at Landmark Apostolic Church in Corydon, Ind., and was a member of Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ Inc.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Mack Murray Pryor Jr. who also passed on this day.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Pierce Pryor; son, Adam Pryor (Jenny) of Georgetown; sisters, Amber Gibson (Danny) of Campbellsburg, Ky., and Ashley King (Dustin) of Honolulu, Hawaii; brothers, Jerry and Robert Pryor, both of Louisville, and Bruce Pryor (Bobby) of Hawesville, Ky.; sisters, Linda Hagan (Dale) of Louisville and Patricia Brown (Tim) and Lisa Smith (Frank), both of Hawesville, Ky.; and grandchildren, Owen and Bennett Pryor, Annalyse Gibson and Sophia King.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020, at Landmark Apostolic Church at 1020 IN-335 Corydon, IN 47112. The Rev. Rusty Akers will be the officiant. Burial will be in Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown.

Visitation will be at the church from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, 2020, and again on Saturday from 12 noon until the service at 2 p.m.

Due to COVID-19, we are limited to under 60 people inside the church at one time, masks are required and please respect the family with practicing social distancing at all times. Food to share will not be allowed at this time.

The family suggests memorial gifts be made to Landmark Apostolic Church.
