County’s COVID-19 cases up by 28
In the past week, Harrison County has had an additional 28 positive cases of COVID-19 reported, up to 513 from 485.
The number of tests done on county residents increased from 5,959 to 6,319 in the past week.
There have been no new deaths of county residents reported, with the Harrison County Health Dept. reporting 25 and an additional two clinical deaths, meaning the person likely had the virus when they died but no test had been given to confirm the diagnosis.
Statewide, the number of deaths has grown from 3,093 to 3,156 since last week.
The number of tests given in Indiana now stands at 1,559,986, up from the previous week’s total of 1,442,887. Of those, there have been 100,780 confirmed positive cases, an increase of 5,889 since the week prior.
