K of C re-opens
The Knights of Columbus, John Paul II Council, has re-opened after being closed since mid-March due to COVID-19.
“Our first activity was our homemade sausage sale,” said Ron Cababella, grand knight of the Council. “We made and sold 870 pounds, a huge success.”
The hall has re-opened on Fridays with weekly dinners. Doors open at 5 p.m., and carry-outs are available.
The Queen of Hearts progressive jackpot is back as well. The drawing is at 7 p.m. Weekly euchre tournaments start at 7:15 p.m.
Monthly fish fries have also resumed.
The hall is located at 6104 S.R. 62, just west of Lanesville.
