South Harrison approves last-minute personnel items


During its meeting that took place on the first day of the 2020-21 school year, the South Harrison Community School Corp. board approved a number of employment contracts, retirements, resignations and volunteers.
The board approved employment for Gerald Timberlake as a Corydon Central High School special education teacher; Cassidy Roberts, CCHS band flags; KaLoni Groudle, Corydon Central Junior High School cheerleading coach; Montana Brooks, CCJHS volleyball coach; Allie Crulo-Rood, CCJHS assistant volleyball coach; Kaitlyn Simpson, CCJHS special education instructional assistant; Mary Lynne Thomas, South Central Junior-Senior High School fall conditioning coach; and Chris McCrary, South Central junior high seventh-grade boys’ basketball coach.
The board accepted retirements or resignations of Kelley Archer, bus driver; Heather Best, CCHS junior varsity cheerleading coach; Amanda Hanger, Corydon Elementary School teacher; and Debbie Lawton, Corydon Intermediate School/CCJHS instructional assistant.
Volunteers approved for the school year were Paul Hamann and Samuel Klinefelter, CCJHS volunteer boys’ soccer coaches; Catherine Leupp and Shelby Austin, CCJHS volunteer girls’ soccer coach; and Virginia McCrary, volunteer South Central junior high tennis coach.
