Helen G. Adams
Helen Grace Adams, 92, Corydon, Ind., passed away Friday, July 10, 2020, at her home in Corydon.
She was born July 7, 1928, in Louisville, Ky., the daughter of Louie and Geneva Royalty Yeargin.
She was a homemaker, an avid quilter and a member of Pfrimmer’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Corydon. Helen was a loving grandmother and doted on her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Adams; brothers, Floyd, Louie Jr., Eugene, Delbert and Daniel Yeargin; and sister, Nancy Coyle.
She is survived by sons Jeffrey Adams (Debbie) and Timothy Adams of Corydon, Thomas Adams (Gail) of Texas and Robert Gerald Adams (Maggie) of Panama City, Fla.; six grandchildren, Tim, Jeffrey, Wesley and Jason Adams, Stephanie Paden and Vanessa Peters; and great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Malachi, Cole and Aubree Adams, Gracie, Katelyn and Shane Paden and Ryleigh and Joseph Peters.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor Tim Johnson will be the officiant. Burial will be in Pfrimmer’s Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12 to 3 p.m. and from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, and again from 10 to 11 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home in Corydon.
Due to COVID-19, only 60 people or less will be allowed in the building at one time. Masks will be required and, if you do not have one, the family will provide one for you. Food is not allowed at this time. The funeral service will be transmitted on FM 106.7 on your car radio if you wish to hear the service from outside the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial gifts be made to Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
