South Central Junior-Senior High School gave out its diplomas virtually on June 7 with plans to have an in-person ceremony Friday, July 10, at 7 p.m. at South Harrison Park near Elizabeth.

“This is a great group of students with exceptional potential,” Principal Mark Black said. “As I reflected on each student individually, the genuine personal quality of each student is tremendous, and it is amazing that so many are clustered in one group.”

South Central had three valedictorians this year: Caden Dean Cunningham, Annabelle Jean Faith and Alyssa Beth Pumphrey.

“We have graduates headed in all different directions, from college to work and the military,” Black said. “Our class leadership set the stage for a class of leaders, and I have nothing but optimism for each and every graduate.

“Again, congratulations, South Central seniors, and best of luck.”
