County’s number of COVID-19 cases up 1
The number of Harrison Countians who have tested positive for the novel coronavirus increased by just one -—from 198 to 199 — since last week.
The county health department reported no additional deaths from COVID-19 in the past week. The total remains at 22 with two more logged as clinical, meaning a physician diagnosed the person as having COVID-19 although no test was documented.
An additional 151 residents were tested for the virus, bringing the total to 1,667.
Statewide, the number of deaths increased by 107, bringing the total to 2,265, while another 2,753 persons tested positive, bringing the total to 40,786. As of Monday, 363,745 Hoosiers have been tested, up from 315,390 the previous week. A total of 182 people are suspected to have died from the virus, up one from the previous week.
