In the past week, the Harrison County Health Dept. reported two new cases of the novel coronavirus in residents, from 196 to 198. There have been 24 deaths, which includes two tagged as clinical, meaning a physician diagnosed the person as having COVID-19 although no test was documented.

Also, another 219 residents were tested for the virus, bringing the total to 1,516.

Statewide, the number of deaths increased from 2,022 to 2,158 while an additional 2,796 persons tested positive, bringing the total to 38,033. As of Monday, 315,390 Hoosiers have been tested, up from 271,919 the previous week. Another 27 people are suspected to have died from the virus, bringing the total to 181.
