Hospital Foundation awards scholarships
Seven students in Harrison County Hospital’s service area were awarded scholarships in the amount of $1,000 from the Harrison County Hospital Foundation to assist them as they pursue their chosen health care fields.
Hannah Benham of Brandenburg — a senior graduating from Meade County High School who has been accepted to Elizabethtown Community and Technical College with plans to major in nursing.
Zoe Saulman of Corydon — a student at Indiana University Southeast who has been accepted into the Sullivan University Doctor of Pharmacy program.
Toni Scott of Palmyra — a 2020 graduate of North Harrison High School who has been accepted to Ivy Tech Community College with plans to study nursing.
Megan Thieneman of Corydon — a student at Ball State University majoring in speech language pathology with minors in Spanish and autism spectrum disorders.
Garren Waters of Brandenburg — a senior at
Meade County High School who plans to attend Elizabethtown Community & Technical College to study nursing.
Blake Wiseman of Mauckport — a student at Indiana State University who is studying nursing.
Victoria (Brett) Wilson of Brandenburg — a senior at Meade County High School who has been accepted to the University of Kentucky with plans to enter the pre-nursing program.
