YMCA offers summer day camps
The YMCA of Harrison County is offering summer day camp where youth can feel like they belong, build relationships, develop character and discover their potential.
Campers may be dropped off Monday through Friday as early as 6:45 a.m. and picked up as late as 6 p.m.
Participants will be divided into three age groups: Kinder Camp for ages 3 to 5 (must be potty trained); Day Camp for ages 6 to 9; and Adventure Camp for ages 10 to 12.
Camp began yesterday (Tuesday) and will continue through July 31.
The cost for Y members is $80 per week per camper or $25 per day per camper, while participants pay $105 per week per camper or $35 per day per camper.
Campers need to be registered by the Friday prior to the week of camp they are attending to ensure a proper camper-to-staff ratio. Shorter weeks are prorated due to school start dates and holidays.
The following items should be brought to all camps daily by each child: lunch, afternoon snack, water bottle, tennis shoes, swimwear and towel, spray sunscreen and appropriate clothing for weather.
