The Fred Cammack Corydon Farmers Market will open its 2020 season Friday, rain or shine, with hours from 4 to 7 p.m.

Located at 124 S. Mulberry St., the market will feature new and returning vendors. COVID-19 social-distancing precautions will be in place, including one entrance and exit located on the east side of the market. Vendors will wear personal protective equipment. The 2020 market will feature a variety of products, such as vegetables, micro greens, fruit, baked goods, crafts, art, beef, pork, poultry, eggs, plants, fresh-cut flowers and fermented vegetables.

Once the market it able to open without special precautions, it will bring back food trucks, entertainment, cooking demonstrations, Homemakers book reading, children’s crafts and more.

“There’s no better way to strengthen your local community than to shop and eat locally,” said Angel Frizzell, executive director of Main Street Corydon, which oversees the market. “By visiting the Corydon Farmers Market, you support our local farmers, crafters and artisans as well as businesses and community members. Also, you support yourself by providing healthy and fresh food for you and your family.”

WIC Farmers Market vouchers and Senior WIC Farmers market vouchers are accepted.

Some vendors will accept credit/debit cards, while others are cash only.
