Kenneth R. Wiseman, 91, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at the Autumn Woods Health Campus.

He was born in Corydon, Ind., and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired from the United States Postal Service after 31 years of service and spent his next several years caning chairs. He was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC), The Angels of Hope Cancer Support Society at Baptist Health Floyd and Silver Street United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Dessie Wiseman; his son, Robert Alan Wiseman; his sister, Mary Shireman; his twin brother, Keith Wiseman; and his brother, Gordon Wiseman.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Marilyn Gleitz Wiseman; his daughters, Rita Baumgartle (Daniel) and Ruth Graves (Michael); his son, Roger Wiseman (Mari Iida); six grandchildren, Amy Baumgartle, Matthew Baumgartle (Ciera), Kirsten Ciarkowski (Charlie), Carson Graves (Bob-Bea) and Karinne and Kaley Graves; and four great-grandsons.

Arrangements: Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes in New Albany. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all arrangements will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Angels of Hope Cancer Support Society at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.
