Beverly A. Coffman


Beverly Ann Coffman, 76, of Corydon, Ind., died Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at her home near Corydon.
She was born June 3, 1943, in Chicago, Ill., to the late Leo J. and Julia C. Ray Shircliff.
Together with her husband, she owned and worked as a logger, truck driver and at Coffman Auto Sales and, previous to that, worked with her father at Kentucky Petroleum Waste. She was also a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church near Mauckport, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Butch Shircliff.
Survivors include her husband, Sammy C. Coffman; her daughters, Leslie Meek (Rick Casteel) of Sellersburg, Ind., Melissa Alstott (Craig) of Martinsville, Ind., and Laura Payne (Kenny) of Elizabeth, Ind.; her son, Charles (Chip) Meek (Claudia Yundt) of Mauckport; her stepson, Timothy Coffman (Leah) of Corydon; her sister, Denise Jett; her brothers, Jim, Chuck, Doug and Glenn Shircliff; 11 grandchildren; and 2-½ great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Private for immediate family Friday March 27, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church near Mauckport.
