Local players receive conference honors
The Mid-Southern Conference recently released its All-Conference-first team and honorable mentions.
A number of local players earned recognition. They are Langdon Hatton, Braden Jenkins and Logan McIntire, all from North Harrison; Dav’eon Fuqua from Clarksville; Kooper Jacobi, Trey Kaufman and Branden Northern, all from Silver Creek; Myron Mead from Salem; Nicholas Sebastiao from Scottsburg; and Isaiah Wineinger from Brownstown Central.
Players who earned honorable mention are Tyler Fessel and Bryce Weber, both from Corydon Central; Hayden Cutter and Treyton Owens, both from Scottsburg; Trey Hargrave from Austin; and Jaren Starks from Clarksville.
Silver Creek won the conference, which gave Brandon Hoffman MSC Coach of the Year honors.
Corydon Central finished the season with an 11-13 record, and North Harrison was 18-6.
