Gordon L. Martin

Gordon Lee Martin, 64, New Albany, died Monday afternoon in Corydon as the result of a drowning accident.

Born in New Albany, he was the son of the late Carl and Romane Hammond Martin.

He was a 1973 graduate of New Albany High School and was formerly employed with the New Albany-Floyd County School Corp. He was a longtime member of Burlington Bible Church in Burlington, Ky., where he served as a board member.

Survivors include his wife, the former Nancy Wilson; and a cousin, Marcus Martin, who was like a brother to him.

Visitation: Thursday, March 12, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes’ Market Street location in New Albany.

Funeral: Friday, March 13, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in the Edwardsville Cemetery.
