Vivian C. Arbuckl

Vivian Caroline Arbuckle, age 75, Depauw, Ind., passed away Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, Ind.

She was born on Dec. 20, 1944, in Waneta, Ky., to Veach Erviel and Rebecca Alice Marie Gambrel Watson.

Vivian was a registered nurse and retired from Harrison County Hospital in 1998. She later worked several years at the Vencor – Kindred Rehab Center. Vivian was married on June 16, 1961, to Ivan Arbuckle. She enjoyed traveling and visited all 50 states. Vivian was also very interested in keeping and studying genealogy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Donald Wayne Arbuckle; one brother, David Watson; and one sister, Mary Rose Oney.

Vivian is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ivan Arbuckle, and five sons, Joe Anthony Arbuckle (Latisha), Brian Gene Arbuckle (Cindi), Michael Ivan Arbuckle (Debbie), Gregory Keith Arbuckle (Diana) and Scott Glenn Arbuckle (Dawn). Nineteen grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a special aunt, Elsie Gambrel, also survive.

Visitation: Tuesday, Feb. 18, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 19, after 10 a.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.

Funeral: Wednesday, Feb. 19, at noon at Love Funeral Home with burial in the Palmyra Cemetery.
