Renita F. Grunden

Renita F. Grunden, 57, Paoli, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2020, at 7:26 p.m. at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.

Born March 7, 1962, in Corydon, she was the daughter of the late Randolph (Owen) Grunden and Ruth Louise Bowman Grunden.

She was a retired mail carrier for the United States Postal Service, with routes in Milltown and English, and a member of Hillview  Christian Church at Marengo.

Survivors include a companion, John Wells of Paoli; three daughters, Sabra Mousty of Paoli and Jami Higdon and Casi Higdon, both of Milltown; a son, Daniel Higdon of Milltown; three sisters, Robin Moon of Marengo, Ramona Allen of Hardinsburg and Roberta Vaught of Sellersburg; a brother, Richard Grunden of Marengo; and three grandchildren.

Visitation: Monday, Feb. 10, from 5 to 8 p.m. at McAdams Mortuary in Paoli.

Funeral: Tuesday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m. at Hillview Christian Church at Marengo with burial in the Concord Cemetery at Paoli.

Officiants: Brothers Paul Walerczak and Bruce Hawkins.
