Hazel Louise White, 95, New Albany, Ind., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2020, at Elmcroft Senior Living of Hendersonville, Tenn.

She was born Feb. 3, 1924, in New Middletown, Ind., the daughter of Eli R. and Iva Bigler Vogt.

She was a retired claims deputy for Indiana Employment Security Division. Hazel was a member of the Old Capital Order of the Eastern Star in Corydon, Royal Neighbors of America, was the oldest member Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Floyds Knobs, Ind., “the Keeper of the Cane,” United Methodist Women and the Mary Martha Circle.

She is survived by her son, David Vogt White (Julia) of Greenbrier, Tenn.; grandsons, David William White (Colleen) of Clarksville, Ind., and Andrew Michael White (Amanda) of New Albany; and two great-grandsons, Logan and Gavin White.

Visitation: Monday, Feb. 3, from noon to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 4, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.

Funeral: Tuesday, Feb. 4, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery in New Middletown.

Officiant: Pastor Peter Williams.
