Edith Elvira Smith Adamson, 74, of Corydon, died Monday, Jan. 27, 2020, at her home in Corydon.

She was born June 30, 1945, in Bullitt County, Ky., to the late Alvin L. and Jeanette E. Grant Smith.

She was the co-owner of Charlie’s Used Cars Inc. in Corydon, was formerly employed at Keller Manufacturing Co. in Corydon and was a member of Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Bonnie Rumple.

Survivors include her husband, Charlie A. Adamson; her daughters, Edie Adamson of Corydon, Teresa Greer (Alvin) of Mauckport and Charlotte Clark (Gary) of Corydon; her brothers, Sonny Smith (Joyce) and Johnny Smith; her sisters, Catherine Lillpop, Judy Shireman (Charlie), Ellen Pfeffer (Fred) and Missy Smith; her grandchildren, Jason Adamson, Jessica Clark and Haley Jones; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 29, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Jan. 30, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

Funeral: Thursday, Jan. 30, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Officiant: The Rev. Andy Hansen.

Pallbearers: Jason Adamson, Dakota Jenkins, Paul Jenkins, Michael Ward, Damion Jones and John Roberts.
