Marilyn (Joan) Duley
Marilyn (Joan) Sharp Duley, 82, passed away Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020, at Harrison Springs Health Campus in Corydon.
She was born Nov. 19, 1937, in Corydon, the daughter of Robert Daniel and Edna Grace Turley Sharp.
She was a homemaker and worked as the office manager along with her husband for Enterprises by Duley and was a lifelong member of Pfrimmer’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl Duley; and two brothers, Lloyd and Glenn Sharp.
Joan is survived by her son, Steve Duley (Penny); daughters, Sherri Coleman (Bill) and Susan Duley-Vannis; and a sister-in-law, Clara Sharp, all of Corydon. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Mike Coleman, Carla Lawyer (Jason), Jason Vannis (Lisa), Adrienne Baelz (Chris), Adam Vannis (Brittany), Ashlie Logsdon (Cory), Chris Duley (Tara), Jessica Adamson, Josh Whitehouse (Haylee) and Courtney Todd (Justin); 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Tuesday, Jan. 21, from noon to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Jan. 22, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Pfrimmer’s Chapel Cemetery near Corydon.
Officiant: Pastor Tim Johnson.
