Earl Wayne Langsdon, 74, formerly of Elizabeth, Ind., died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019, at his home in Bicknell, Ind.

He was born Jan. 20, 1945, in New Albany, Ind., to Edward and Anna Mae Wilson Langsdon.

He worked as a maintenance engineer and was past president of Sons of the American Legion. He loved frog-gigging and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Melvin and Harold Langsdon; and sister, Loretta Sweitzer.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Brenda Bright Langsdon; daughters, Tish Striegel (Tim) of Greenville, Ind., Angie Masterson (Butch) of Bicknell and Waynette Adams (Jeff) of Elizabeth; sister, Laura Mae Zink (Dennis) of Clarksville, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Sunday, Jan. 5, from noon to 8 p.m. and Monday, Jan. 6, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, Ind.

Funeral: Monday, Jan. 6, at 11 a.m. the funeral home with burial in Bethesda Cemetery in Elizabeth.
