Vivian M. Jenkins

Vivian M. Weathers Jenkins, 84, died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019, at Harrison Healthcare in Corydon.

Born Sept. 30, 1935, in Marengo, she was the daughter of the late Sherrill and Mabel Mae Spraggins Weathers.

She formerly owned Viv’s Bakery, managed Van’s Restaurant from 1983 to 1991 and was a member of the Faith Southern Baptist Church in Vallonia.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy G. Jenkins; a son, Billy Joe Jenkins; and two brothers, Harold and Howard Weathers.

Survivors include a son, Roger L. Jenkins (Judy) of Marengo; a daughter, Vicki Sue Miley (Bill) of Milltown; a daughter-in-law, Mary Jenkins of Vallonia; two brothers, Harry L. Weathers of English and Wayne Weathers of Depauw; two sisters, Gloria J. Bullington of Marengo and Linda S. Woolems of English; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Friday, Dec. 20, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 21, after 9 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Milltown.

Funeral: Saturday, Dec. 21, at noon at the funeral home with interment in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Depauw.
