Ricky A. Beaver

Ricky Alan Beaver, 61, Floyds Knobs, Ind., passed away Sunday, Dec. 22, 2019, at University of Louisville Hospital with his family by his side.

Rick was born on June 4, 1958, at Gravios Mills, Mo.

He worked in the tree trimming industry as vice president and co-owner of the right-of-way division with ElectriCom for the past 13 years. Prior to ElectriCom, Rick worked alongside his father in their family business, Utility Clearing Service. He loved anything that involved being outdoors, including hunting, fishing and boating. Rick was an avid Louisville Cardinals fan and a music connoisseur. Above all else, Rick loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Tharold Beaver.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Beaver; mother, Edna Beaver; daughters, Rikki Hanger (Joey), Tori Beaver (Tony), Stephanie Beaver and Samantha Knies (John); son, Mick Knies; sisters, Tammy Broughton (Kevin) and Diann Parr (Steven); and grandchildren, Gavin Hanger, Aria Hanger and Aniston Schoen.

Visitation: Thursday, Dec. 26, from noon to 8 p.m. and Friday, Dec. 27, after noon at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions in New Albany.

Funeral: Friday, Dec. 27, at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
