Howard K. Rawlings
Howard Keith Rawlings, 84, Eaton, Ohio, formerly of Hardinsburg, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019, at his home.
Born Oct. 6, 1935, in Milltown, he was the son of the late Theodore and Lucille McIntosh Rawlings.
He was a 1953 graduate of Hardinsburg High School, an Army veteran, retired as a foreman from the Colgate Palmolive Co., was a former member of the Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, where he taught Sunday school, was a song leader and held various leadership roles, was a member of the Eaton United Methodist Church and was a lifetime member of Gideons International.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward D. Rawlings.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, the former Vivian Nichols; a daughter, Melinda Farmer of Van Wert, Ohio; a brother, Joseph Rawlings of Louisville; and two grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, Dec. 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Eaton United Methodist Church and Tuesday, Dec. 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra followed by a graveside service at Horners Chapel Cemetery.
Officiant: Pastor John Richards.
