Glenda N. Hedgespeth
Glenda Nadine Hedgespeth, 84, Palmyra, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019.
Born Nov. 7, 1935, at Hadley, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Alva and Ervil Gill Borders.
She was a homemaker and of the United Methodist faith.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Thomas Hedgespeth; a son, Thomas Glen Hedgespeth; and a brother, Charles Borders.
Survivors include a son, George Eric Hedgespeth (Holly) of Greenville; three daughters, Barbara J. East of Palmyra, Sharon Faye Shirley of Bowling Green, Ky., and Janet Lynn Hedgespeth of Georgetown; four sisters, Marlene Campbell of Gibraltar, Mich., Patty Smith (Harold) of Taylor, Mich., Fredia Pekarek of Michigan and Sara Jo Beavers of Bellville, Mich.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Virginia Borders of Russellville, Ky.
Visitation: Tuesday, Dec. 17, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 18, after 9 a.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Wednesday, Dec. 18, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Horner’s Chapel Cemetery at Fredericksburg.
