Daniel F. Walther
Daniel Fredrick Walther, 61, Corydon, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.
Born Dec. 28, 1957, in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late James and Eunice Rou Walther.
He was a retired auto technician at Highland Automotive near Edwardsville and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church near Lanesville.
Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Dee Kellems and Jamie Kay Walther, both of Corydon; a brother, Thomas James Walther of Corydon; a sister, Rebecca Kessinger of Georgetown; and five grandchildren, Felix, Fiona, Fletcher, Gabe and Izzy.
Visitation: Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Dec. 5, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Thursday, Dec. 5, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in St. John’s Cemetery near Lanesville.
Officiant: Pastor Mark Carnahan.
Pallbearers: Jamie, Felix and Travis Walther, Jacob Kessinger and Fiona and Fletcher Tinius.
The family suggests memorial gifts to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
