Norma Carol Pendleton, 75, Louisville, formerly of Palmyra, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019.

Born April 15, 1944, in Columbia, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Tina Holder.

She owned and operated Catherine’s Legacy, a women’s boutique in St. Matthews, Ky., for 35 years. She also owned a catering business, bought and sold antiques and raised her children on an organic farm. She volunteered at a Latino Center to learn Spanish and, at 57, began oil painting and mentored many women.

She was the youngest of five children; her siblings were Sylvia, Keith, Imogene and David.

Survivors include two daughters, Paige Stewart and Monica Mays; a son, Jonathan Pendleton; and three grandchildren, Catherine, Michael and Luke.

Visitation: Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 27, after 9 a.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.

Funeral: Wednesday, Nov. 27, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with interment in the Palmyra Cemetery.

Open house and brunch: Saturday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at her home located at 1121 Broadfields Drive in Louisville.
