Paul T. Meek


Paul Timothy Meek, 63, Corydon, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019, at his home near Corydon.
Born Aug. 1, 1956, in Jeffersonville, he was the son of the late Charles Franklin Meek and Eleanor Jean Davis Baird Ison.
He was a the owner of Meek Carpentry, where he was able to show his love of woodworking and trim carpentry, and was a Navy veteran.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his foster parents, Bud and Marilyn Teeter; a granddaughter, Macenzie Nicole Meek; a great-grandson, Benjamin Xavier Bradford; and a brother, Charles David Meek.
Survivors include his wife, the Debbie Emily Meek; a son, Charles David Meek of Corydon; two daughters, Amanda Jean Burt (Kerry) of Depauw and Dana Gerdon (Tony) of Laconia; a sister, Karen Meek of Louisville; three brothers, Jerry Teeter of Corydon and Darrell and Steve Teeter, both of Lanesville; 11 grandchildren, Megan Gerdon (Sean), Paige Gerdon, Amber Gerdon, Tyler David Stauth, Brenna Dismang, Haley Meek, Bryson Meek, Kerry Burt, Garrett Burt, Chasity Burt and Alysha Scherer (Justen); and three great-grandsons, Michael, Justen Jr. and Blake.
Visitation: Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Officiant: Jeff McCarty.
