Mary Louise Emmons Drabek, 89, Pekin, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019, at Nazareth Home in Louisville.

Born April 25, 1930, in Louisville, she was the daughter of the late Guy William and Goldie Mae Douglas Emmons.

She was an alumnus of Theodore Ahrens Trade High School, earned an associate degree in paralegal studies, was a member of Delta Epsilon Tau and her major employment was with law enforcement at the University of Louisville Southern Police Institute and the Louisville Division of Police as well as several attorneys. She was a Southern Baptist, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Greenville Golden Girls.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Edmund Felix Drabek; a grandson, Stephen Michael Howard; two brothers, Lee and Guy (Buster); and four sisters, Erma, Ethel, Lillian (Lill) and Bettie Jean (Patsy).

Survivors include two children, Edmund L. Drabek and Deborah Drabek Howard, and four grandchildren.

Visitation: Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 21, after 9 a.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.

Funeral: Thursday, Nov. 21, at noon at the funeral home with interment in St. Michael Cemetery in Bradford.
