Mary Catherine Stiner, 82, Corydon, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.

Born March 8, 1937, in Harrison County, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Kathleen Kannapel Stiner.

She was a supervisor for the Census Bureau, in the women’s quilting group at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon and was a lifelong member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New Middletown.

Survivors include a brother, William Stiner of New Middletown; a sister, Lois Ann Drury of Floyds Knobs; three nieces, Mary Drury of Floyds Knobs, Paula Moore of New Albany and Melissa Drury of Elizabeth; a great-niece, Kate Surber of Floyds Knobs; and a great-great-niece, Kemry Sigman of Floyds Knobs.

Visitation: Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 4 to 8 p.m., with a rosary at 7:15, and Thursday, Nov. 14, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.

Mass of Christian burial: Thursday, Nov. 14, at 11 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New Middletown with burial in the church cemetery.

Celebrant: Father Kyle Rodden.

The family suggests memorial gifts to Most Precious Blood Catholic Church or Most Precious Blood Catholic Cemetery.
